The Ian Collins Rayner UKISCRS Fellowship
Ian Collins was the Managing Director and latterly Chairman of Rayner Intraocular Lenses Ltd for many years, and was always very supportive of the link to UKISCRS, most obviously with the Rayner Medal Lecture. Sadly, Ian died in 2010 just after Rayner was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, of which he was immensely proud.
Rayner has offered UKISCRS a funded fellowship, which has been named the Ian Collins – Rayner – UKISCRS Fellowship.
It was announced at the Annual Meeting in Brighton that Mr Uday Bhatt (Nottingham University Hospital) has been awarded the fellowship.
