COUNCIL MEMBER ELECTION 2025

Your opportunity to apply to join the UKISCRS Council

Announcement:

UKISCRS (CIO, registered charity number: 1191256), announce that the Society has 3 Council vacancies it seeks to fill in 2025. We are now accepting applications from UKISCRS members to apply for these soon to be vacated UKISCRS Council posts. Successful applicants will join Council  from the 12th November 2025 (49th Annual Congress).

The Role:

• A really fulfilling, enjoyable and satisfying role. One in which alongside other enthusiastic, committed (and also busy) Council members you can help shape our dynamic, forward thinking Society, and play an integral part in planning and delivering our amazing UKISCRS scientific meetings and the other educational activities we support.  ​

• A three-year term and thereafter Council members may be re-elected for one further three-year term.

 

Application submission rules:

• Applicants must be fully paid up members of UKISCRS.

• Nominations must be supported by a proposer and seconder, both of whom must be current members of UKISCRS.

To be submitted at the time of application:

• Personal statement (less than 200 words), details of present appointments, social profile links, profile photo. ​

​​Governing Election timings:

• Application submission open until Sunday, 01/06/2025, 23:59.

• UKISCRS Member voting for nominees: Thursday 05/06/2025 - Friday 20/06/2025, 23:59.

• Results announced end of June 2025.

• The success candidate to officially take post at the UKISCRS Council Meeting, Wednesday 12/11/2025.
