"The overall learning objective of this programme is for Ophthalmic Professional's to, in conjunction with UKISCRS celebration of the 75th anniversary of Harold Ridleys first intra-ocular lens implant, explore the cataract pathway. In particular, and through the use of clinical case studies, we will commemorate the part played by the Ophthalmic

Professionals in patients care from referral to recovery."

Founded in 1976, UKISCRS is one of the oldest implant societies in the world. A brief history of the Society can be found here.

 

UKISCRS has an active membership of over 400 doctors from the UK and Ireland as well as a number of international members. UKISCRS is at the forefront of promoting education and learning in cataract and refractive surgery.

 

UKISCRS is a CIO (Charity Incorporated Organisation) with Charity Number 1191256. It is administered by the Council, which comprises the Trustees, Officers and elected representatives from the membership.
